Dick Birchum is a war veteran who is always calling for job requests, especially to places that are not hiring right now, and if they refused to hire him he would lash out that he is very overqualified (not really) and talk about his war injuries and his 600 pound wife.
The producers of the show pitched a traditionally animated spin-off centering on Birchum to FOX in 2011, but it was declined.
